Neither exhaustion from a long day’s work nor hazardous road conditions could repel a standing room only crowd at Told#7. All 8 storytellers worked hard to keep the audience entertained and engaged in funny and poignant lessons of labor.
We heard stories about dream jobs and nightmarish working conditions. A teacher shared her journey from corporate America to the classroom, only to be followed by the exact opposite experience from another storyteller. One storyteller shared her experience of being picked for all the wrong qualifications, and another found that his history of asking for cash made him uniquely qualified for his current job.
Thanks to our featured storytellers Gina Morris Tohme and Adam Ross as well as to the Weatherhead Women in Business for partnering on this event.
